WOOD CARVED PICTURE “VEGVISIR “.
The Vegvisir (Icelandic Vegvísir, “That Which Shows the Way;” pronounced “VEGG-vee-seer”)
A Vegvísir is an Icelandic magical stave intended to help the bearer find their way through rough weather. The symbol is attested in the Huld Manuscript, collected in Iceland by Geir Vigfusson in 1880 (but consisting of material of earlier origin)
If this sign is carried, one will never lose one’s way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known
MATERIAL: Iroko wood.
FINISHING: natural wax.
The magnificent battles and powerful characters of ancient Norse sagas come to life in this special Viking Soul collection. In these works, I capture the essence of my favorite tales and characters so that other mythology buffs and Viking enthusiasts like me, can feel like they are holding a real artifact from times when Thor made thunder with his hammer, Loki played his games and tricks, and Odin and his raven watched overall.

Carvings require no special care – just dust off with a clean, dry cloth as needed. Avoid contact with water.
